I am a holistic therapist and have studied various bodywork and advanced soft tissue techniques including Thai massage and Hot Stone massage. I am a massage therapist, infant massage instructor, member of the Guild of Infant and Child Massage and Birthlight.
I hold a diploma in 'Massage and Pregnancy' from Well Mother and have a certificate in 'Pre and Peri-natal massage' from Carol Osborne-Sheets. I have done additional training in 'Shiatsu for Midwives' and 'Baby Shiatsu' with Well Mother and in 'Baby Yoga' with Birthlight.
I have a particular interest in using Eastern and Western techniques in Holistic Massage, sensitively applying various massage techniques and acupressure points to suit the individual.
I have developed a passionate interest in using body work through pregnancy and with parents and babies. This has been born out of inspiring teaching and the endless inspiration of the women and babies with whom I have had the privilege to work. |
